Software Release Videos


The Challenge

Prior to 2015, Percolate’s marketing efforts focused on the pre-sale side of the customer journey. After a rocky road, we realized that there was significant value in nurturing current customers… even after they had purchased the software.


The Solution

Each quarter, I created a video that explains Percolate’s new features, and why those features matter. These videos were sent to the entire Percolate user-base, and aggregated on the company’s customer service website.


My Role

I led these projects through storyboarding, copywriting, production, and editing. I partnered with a team of product marketers to refine the positioning, and translate that positioning into a succinct video.


 

Introduction to Percolate Video


The Challenge

Back in 2015 (this video is a bit dated,) our sales team was having a hard time quickly describing the key benefits of the Percolate software. Our implementation team was also having a hard time explaining those benefits as they were rolling out the software to new customers.


The Solution

I created a short 90-second video that answers the question "What is Percolate, and how does it work?"


My Role

I led the entire project from storyboarding through production. I partnered with the product marketing team, and brought in a copywriter from McCann to help us achieve a more accessible tone. I shot the entire video in and around our offices in Soho, on a shoestring budget.
